It has been a very busy week this week. The Year Six children have had a 'testing' time (excuse the pun), undertaking their end of primary school tests. This year's tests have been the most challenging that I have seen since the tests began, and I am extremely proud of the way our children have got stuck in and persevered even when faced with texts of 3000 words and standardised reading ages of 14-15 years.
Not one child complained or moaned. They all did their very best and many reported that they enjoyed the challenge. This is a superb testament to the work of parents and staff in preparing our children to be ready to take on any challenge. A skill that will see them well in later life.
Well done Year 6. You are awesome!
