Art Club

Art Club meet after school on a Friday between 3.15 and 4.15.
Some of their recent work will be on display in the 'Colours of the Continents' exhibition at Crealy Country Park at the end of June.

 

Boys' Football

Boys' Football Club train after school on Mondays and both A and B teams compete in the league and various cups and tournaments.

Congratualtion to the Boys' A Team, who this season are Torbay League Champions and winners of the Bewley Cup.

 

Chess Club

Chess club is for year 4/5/6 and meets from 3.15-4.00 on Thursdays.

Cricket Club

Cricket Club will be starting a couple of weeks into the Summer Term, for Year 5 and 6 children. The club welcomes children of all abilities – from beginner to young professional. The emphasis is on having fun, which is why it’s so popular!

 

Dance Club

Anyone in KS2 is welcome to join dance club, which meets on Tuesdays, 8.15-8.45am in the hall.

Dance club performed in 'Greased Lightning' in the Torbay Music Festival.

Foundation Fun

This club is for Reception children and meets after school on Thursdays.

Gymnastics Club

This club is for year 2 children and meets on Tuesdays, 3.15-4.15.

Gardening Club

Gardening Club meets on Tuesdays in the Music Room between 3.15pm and 4.15pm. We have 6 enthusiastic members and would welcome any keen gardeners from years 5 and 6 to join. We do various activities including, planting seeds and vegetables, preparing beds and the vegetable garden, creating scrapbooks and designing gardens.

 

Girls' Football

Girls' Football Club is for years 5 and 6 and we train after school on Tuesdays and teams compete in the league, cup and various tournaments.

 

ICT Club

Girls’ Computer Club (CC4G) takes place in the summer term on Friday from 3.15 to 4.15. It is open girls in Year 5. The girls enjoy a range of activities including using digital music mixing desks, filming and editing mini-movies, experimenting with electronics kits and even planning their own fashion shows! They also get a free goodie bag when they join.

Japanese Club

Japanese Club meets every Tuesday from 3.15-4.15pm. They have been learning some Japanese greeting, how to use chopsticks, origami and have even had Japanese visitors!

 

Netball

There are two netball clubs. Years 3 and 4 train after school on Mondays (3.15-4.15) and years 5 and 6 train after school on Fridays (3.15-4.25)

 

Performing Arts

Performing Arts meet together between 3.20 and 4.45pm every Monday and offer a range of activities encompassing singing, dance and percussion. In the Spring we perform at the Torbay Festival of music,this year performing 'Summer Holiday' and 'Singing in the Rain. Every summer we put on a musical show - last summer we performed the musical 'Aladdin'.

Reading Club for Boys

This club meets on Wednesday lunchtimes to read and share our favourite books.

 

Recorder Club

There are two recorder clubs - one for year 2 children (Mondays 3.15-4.00) and one for years 3/4/5 (Thursday lunchtimes).
"I like coming to recorder club because you get to do lots of fun activities like playing in church and in talent competitions. You also get to learn a musical instrument."

Sewing Club

In year 2 we enjoy sewing and can join in Sewing club in the Autumn Term.

This year, year 6 have begun a sewing club to make dolls to send to children in South Africa.

Tennis Club

Year 2 Tennis Club meets in the Summer Term on a Tuesdayfrom 3.15-4.15pm.
We learn to use a tennis racquet and hit a ball back to a partner.
