I began my teaching career in 2000 and I have been fortunate enough to have taught in a variety of school settings. I have worked with children within Early Years Foundation Stage, Key Stage One, Two and Three! Throughout my career I have held varying roles within schools, including SENDCo, Head of Key Stage One and of course many years as a class teacher. I have achieved the National Award for Special Educational Needs Coordination and I am a licensed Thrive practitioner. I have always had a passion for working with children with additional needs. Within my current role as SEN Teacher at Oldway, I lead the in-school Nurture provision which is based in the Rainbow Room.
In my spare time I enjoy spending family time with my husband and our two children, George who is 12 years old and Ava who is 8 years old. We can usually be found on a coastal path walking our dog, Moose!
