On Tuesday and Thursday we went to Preston Beach to learn about Living Things and their Habitats for our science work, and about features of the beach for our geography work. We spent time looking at the physical features on the beach such as shells, seaweed and pebbles. We organised them based on their properties and tried to identify which shells were which.
We then made our way down to the slippery, wet rock pools. We had a careful and observant look and found lots of different things, like crabs, hermit crabs, shrimp and sea snails! It was awesome!
We were very lucky with the weather and everyone had such a lovely time. Thank you to all of the wonderful parents that helped out!
