Spelling test 8.11.19

Dear Parents and Carers,

As Remembrance Day is coming up, every child at the school will be invited to make their own poppy. For this, each child will need a 2 litre plastic bottle. Other resources will be provided by the school. The poppies will be used to make a display on the school field in the week beginning 11.11.19.

We would be grateful if you could send in a 2 litre plastic bottle some time next week.

Many thanks

Mrs Claridge, Mrs Cochrane and Miss Tape

My Maths homework due 18.10.19

Place Value to 30

Spelling test 3.10.19

Spelling test 26.9.19

Friday 20th September,

Good afternoon,

Today we have set some more My Maths homework. Please take a look and have a go by the 27th September. Well done to everybody for working hard on your spellings. The same words will be tested next week. Class teachers check all Reading Logs every Friday to see how frequently children have been reading at home. Thank you to those parents who have been reading with their children and remembering to write in their reading diaries. We already have one child who has made it to 25 reads. Well done! We are looking forward to handing out more certificates very soon.

We would be grateful if you could ensure that your child wears the appropriate school uniform especially their ties as quite a few children are saying that they have left their tie at home. It is helpful if you could name their belongings so that this can be returned to you when mislaid.

If anyone could help hear the children read on any afternoon, please let your class teacher know.

Class 13 are going to PCSA on 3rd October and desperately need help! Please see Mrs Cochrane if you could help on this afternoon.

Many thanks and have a lovely weekend

Dear Parents and Carers,

Last week in maths we revisited counting on and back in ones. The children were asked to fill in the missing numbers on number tracks. Some My Maths homework has now been set. This is a simple revision task to get us back into the swing of completing homework. We have given all of the children new passwords and these will be coming home shortly.

Thank you for your support.
