This is my second year teaching at Oldway Primary School within the Early Years team, after completing a BEd in Primary Education (specialising in Early Years) at Plymouth MARJON University. I am staying within Class 21 this year and cannot wait to continue to work within such a brilliant team.
In the summer of 2017 I undertook some volunteering work in the Orphans Junior Noordheok Project in Cape Town, South Africa. The experience of working within one of the city slums reinforced the importance of providing a good education where children thrive and revel in their learning, ensuring all children reach their potential. I am passionate about working with children and supporting children to learn, gain independence and explore through an enabling environment.
Outside of school I like to be active. I love being outside from kayaking on the River Dart to going on different coastal walks.
