Children are set MyMaths homework during or at the end of a block of work. This will be work that they are already familiar with and therefore should be able to access and complete independently.
MyMaths is accessible from laptops, PCs, Chromebooks, tablets or iPads. If you do not have access to electronic devices at home, please speak to your child's class teacher and they will arrange another time for your child to use Chromebooks in the classroom to access their homework.
It is expected that children complete the homework within the time-frame given, especially as we will be setting homework regularly and it can build up quickly! If your child has any issues completing the homework because they get stuck or do not understand something, please remind them to speak to their class teacher who will give them a reminder or apparatus to help complete the homework.

Things to remember: There are 10 ones in 1 ten. There are 10 tens in 1 hundred. There are 100 ones in 1 hundred. There are 10 hundreds in 1 thousand.
Things to remember: Use mental methods if you do not require regrouping or are only adding ones, tens or hundreds. If you are adding 3-digit or 2-digit numbers that require regrouping, use the column method as shown above.
Things to remember: Your times tables will help you with division as you will be able to spot your numbers to partition in to to get equal groups. (e.g. 54 ÷ 3. 50 ÷ 3 + 4 ÷ 3 won't give you equal groups. 30 ÷ 3 + 24 ÷ 3 will give you equal groups.
