They have turned into butterflies. We have fed them sugar water and an apple.

Fruit tasting. We tried some different fruits from the story and thought of different words to describe them.
We have made our own butterflies. We spoke about mixing colours and symmetrical patterns.
Our caterpillars have arrived and we cannot wait to watch them grow.
We have been very busy in Class 21! We have made our own masks, decorated butterflies, made name caterpillars and retold the story. We have used paint and the whiteboard to draw parts of the story. We have made a story map in class to help us remember the story and many of us had a go at drawing our own.
This term we are looking and learning about the story: The Very Hungry Caterpillar. We cannot wait for our own caterpillars to arrive!
