Reading with your child..mp4
These short videos will demonstrate the types of activities that we do, weekly, in funky fingers. Children develop their fine motor control and hand eye co-ordination doing various activities, using small objects and equipment that will develop and strengthen the muscles in their fingers. Through practising these skills, the children develop the ability to hold and use a pencil correctly and effectively. By using the correct pencil grip the children will show control and the ability to form letters correctly. This then enables the children to develop their writing skills. The children in the video are using the correct pencil grip of their thumb and two fingers.
