We are lucky enough to be situated next door to the beautiful Oldway Gardens and ponds. This makes a wonderful extension of our site and our pupils enjoy adventuring through our secret gateway to visit the squirrels and wildlife.  

The Oldway Gardens Volunteer Group has become an extension of our school community and are so accommodating in facilitating activities like pond dipping, nature walks and art focuses.  The children thoroughly enjoy this intergenerational work and look forward to our visits to see our volunteer friends.

Being within walking distance of the beach is also a real luxury.  The children enjoy at least one beach-based activity each year, where we explore safety, the beauty of where we live, encourage team work, investigate the wildlife and enjoy being outside!

We also explore the importance of the train line to our local community. After all, that is why Paignton is such a holiday hub!
