Funding for 3 and 4 year olds
Shells Nursery at Oldway offers a yearly intake every September following a child's 3rd birthday. All children are eligible for 15 hours a week of free nursery education starting from the term after they turn 3 years of age. You may be entitled to up to 30 hours of free childcare if your child is 3 to 4 years old. For more information regarding eligibility, or to apply, visit www.gov.uk/30-hours-free-childcare.
Shells Nursery sessions are currently charged at £4.40 per hour if you are required to pay. This is increasing to £5.35 from September 2024.
